INGREDIENTS

Puffed Makhana 2 cups
basmati rice, soaked, boiled 2 cups
vegetable oil 1 tbsp
cumin seeds ½ tsp
whole pepper corns ½
cashew nuts, broken 1 tbsp
medium onion sliced 1
garlic- ginger, chopped 1 tsp
turmeric ¼ tsp
red chili powder ½ tsp
medium tomato, chopped 1
garam masala ¼ tsp
ON1Y Roasted garlic & pink salt ¼ tsp
Garnish
Fried onion 1 tbsp
fresh coriander & mint Chopped 1 tbsp

METHOD

  1. Heat oil and splutter cumin seeds, cashew nuts and peppercorn. Add onion, chopped garlic and ginger, turmeric and saute until onion turn golden brown.
  2. Now add red chili, tomato and makhana and saute for minute.
  3. Add boiled rice, garam masala and roasted garlic and pink salt mix well.
  4. Serve immediately with boondi raita.
