INGREDIENTS
Surmai/ RawasFish fillet | 500gms |
ginger garlic paste | 1 tbsp |
onion (small) finely chopped | 1 |
sprig coriander leaves | |
lime juice | 1 tbsp |
On1y Red Chili Flakes | 1 tsp |
potatoes medium, boiled, mashed | 2 |
tbsp bread crumbs | 4 |
refined flour | ½ cup |
vegetable oil/ olive oil | 2 tbsp |
salt to taste | 1 |
METHOD
- Cook the fish in a little bit of salt and water for 10 mins and let it cool.
- After the fish cools,drain excessive water and mash with a fork.
- Mix all the ingredients listed above with the fish and potatoes.
- Make into 15 balls and flatten them with your hands and place on a flat pan.
- Spread refined flour on flat tray and roll all tikkies on them and coat well.
- Add oil on flat nonstick pan and cook each tikki until golden brown in color from both the side.
- Serve hot with green chutney and onion salad.
